Krishna Ranch is owned by Dinesh Jain(from Udaipur city) and Francine Jain- Rothuis (from the Netherlands). Dinesh is a specialist in the field of Marwari horse-care and breeding. He has also been organizing horse-safaris since 1997. Francine is a cultural anthropologist and managing the rooms at Krishna Ranch
In 1997 we were looking to buy some land to stable our three horses. We found a unique piece of nature, surrounded by mountains, off the road and yet close to Udaipur city. The ideal place!
During the years we have developed our farm by cultivating the land for agriculture and planting hundreds of (fruit) trees. We have built stables for our horses, 6 rooms for guests and a restaurant. We have always kept our farm small-scale, trying not to harm nature in any way.
We would very much like to share with you the happiness and peace that we have found in this special place: the simple life in harmony with nature and with respect for animals, the fresh air, the beautiful home-cooked food prepared by our local friendly staff and much more!
Interesting guided hikes and rides to the surroundings of the ranch are being organized. For experienced horse-riders we offer multi day trail-rides
